This year the Sparwood Business Awards will run in 2 phases. The initial phase will narrow the businesses down to the top 3. After Voting closes on August 30th, 2026 the top 3 nominees will circulate for a second round of voting.
Final winners will be announced at our 2026 Business Awards Night on Wednesday, October 28th, 2026.

Service Based Business of the Year Award
This award celebrates a business that has made a significant impact in hospitality or tourism, helping to showcase Sparwood as a welcoming and vibrant destination. The recipient demonstrates excellence in customer experience, promotes our community, and contributes to creating memorable experiences for visitors and residents alike.
Hospitality & Tourism Award
This award is presented to a business that has started in the last 2 years or less, has significant business potential; shows growth and a strong commitment.
New Business of the Year Award
This award is presented to a society or association within the District of Sparwood and has recognized as socially responsible and is well managed with measurable results benefitting the community, and that contributes to the economic, social, and or cultural well-being of our community.
Not For Profit Award
This award recognizes an industrial-based business that provides exceptional products, services, or support to local industries. The recipient demonstrates strong business ethics, operational excellence, and a commitment to advancing the success of the industrial community through reliable, innovative, and high-quality contributions.
Industrial Business Award
This award recognizes a business in the trades or construction sector that demonstrates excellence in craftsmanship, reliability, innovation, and safety. The recipient contributes to the growth and development of Sparwood, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and the community.
Trades & Construction Business Award

A youth in our community who has made outstanding commitment, achievements or volunteered, actively engaged in the community.
Community Youth Award
The citizen of the year is an individual that gives endlessly to our community all year. Your nomination should be someone that shows leadership, dedication, and a positive impact on our community.
